The illiterate of the 21st century
The illiterate of the 21st century
The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn.
- Alvin Toffler
The effort and will to learn something new is far more important than existing knowledge. In a society where knowledge is constantly changing, if one stops learning, regardless of their age, they will have fallen behind the times. On the other hand, if one constantly learns and soaks up new information, they will be young and up-to-date; regardless of their age. People only start getting “older” when they stop learning new things.
